I thought adding the text while I'm doing stuff would help me "explain" it better, but I could just add it here yes. Should I edit the post and put that text in spoiler tag under the video link?Great!
Is this the click-through function?
I assume it is, but don't really get why have you entered the description into a video, why didn't simply paste it here. Doesn't matter, but it's not quite clear. Sorry...
So what I did understand is this:Am I correct, did I understand what you want to achieve? If I did, what is the difference between the second and third phase?
- In normal state of the main.ini skin everything works as intended: you can click any meter.
- When you click the left-most button of the skin, its meters loose their click feature (so you can't click those meters anymore) and the skin fades out.
- Not sure how do you get the third, click-through phase, but assuming you get it, you want to not be able to click to any meter of your skin, excepting the previously mentioned left-most button, which should get back the normal state of the skin.
Yeah, that's the video I'm talking about. So:
- "In normal state of the main.ini skin everything works as intended: you can click any meter." - Yes!
- "When you click the left-most button of the skin, its meters loose their click feature (so you can't click those meters anymore) and the skin fades out." Yes!
- "Not sure how do you get the third, click-through phase, but assuming you get it, you want to not be able to click to any meter of your skin, excepting the previously mentioned left-most button, which should get back the normal state of the skin."
So, once I click the left-mouse button:
- [MeterBlocky] appears and main.ini fades out
- Now I can't click anything except the button to show main.ini up again and hide [MeterBlocky]
- And while I'm in that state (main.ini fade out) I want the [MeterBlocky] (meter in blocky.ini) and the whole main.ini (skin) to become "click-through" so I can click on everything that's under the skin (like desktop or browser or in-game stuff)
- Keeping that in mind I want the [MeterButton] to still function properly so I can go back and forth (Normal state -> Fade out + click-through)
So we are not really adding the 3rd phase, its more like we combine both into one phase:
1. Normal state/"phase"
2. Fade out main.ini + Block the main.ini via [MeterBlocky] + Make them both "click-through"
Something like that. Well I just realised maybe we don't need to even block the main.ini if we just make it click-through with the button, lol. Or maybe I'm wrong, not sure. If you get my idea - I'm open for a more "clean" approach for that functionality, if that means we skip the blocking and go straight to click-through. Less mess is always nicer

EDIT1: Thinking about skipping the blocking of main.ini. Hmm.. I don't think I like that idea - I could use that skin "blocky.ini" to put something more in there as well. Maybe a little text or some kind of "frame" to indicate that the main.ini is currently not in the state to use it. So I think I'd like it to stay, if we can do that ^^
