My bad, I misspoke about that formula not returning 1 or 0 for true/false. It does. It's still not the right way to go, due to the need to pair up IfEqualValue with IfEqualAction and such. There is no IfNotEqualAction if you see what I mean.Good catch... I missed that.
While I understand what you are saying, from a programmers standpoint I completely disagree. If equals works OK you would assume not equals is valid as a matter of principle. Technically speaking I was OK with a numerical value. I wanted a 1 if they were not equal

Plus with IfCondition, there is really no need for a separate Calc measure to do the comparison. Just stick the IfCondition on ANY measure, perhaps one of the two you are comparing.
